What a great sight… a dad and son having costume fun in the neighborhood park! I bet the boy is just thrilled to play Spider-Man with his dad.
This photo was taken by Blackhawx73, who just happened to come across the superhero duo, and decided to snap a photo.
What a great dad. He’s not worried about looking silly, he just cares about his son.

Here’s a VERY touching costume story, involving a boy named Kye and the police & fire departments of Arlington, TX.
7-year-old Kye has leukemia, and in participation with “A Wish with Wings,” the city arranged a huge superhero day. Kye dressed as Batman, and along with an adult Batman, he captured super villains such as The Joker and Riddler. His mother dressed up as Batgirl, and other friends joined as Robin and Pink Batgirl.
Together they saved the city and Kye’s dream came true. It concluded with a special ceremony at City Hall, where Kye received a Key to the City. This is so touching and amazing! What a marvelous adventure.
It’s so great to see our Superhero Costumes worn in this video. Costumes can be so important, especially to children, in a way that goes way beyond trick-or-treating on Halloween.
We offer a sincere congratulations to Kye and his family, and applaud the city of Arlington for their kindness and generosity.

On Saturday, April 14, 2012, APD and AFD came together with “A Wish with Wings” and made a dream come true for a 7-year-old boy, Kye, who has leukemia. We granted a Batman adventure wish for Kye. The adventure began at 10 a.m. and ended with a special ceremony at City Hall where Assistant Police Chief James Hawthorne presented Kye a ‘key to the City.’ Kye’s special day included a bank, fake money, motor officers, a bogus “bomb” and couple of cackling villains whose criminal acts were foiled by the good guys.
Time for some fun costume news… A school principal from St. Louis, MO wore a cow costume for an entire day after his students reached their goal in a charity fundraiser. How funny! And that costume looks familiar — it’s our Comical Cow Costume!
Salem Lutheran Principal Rob Kellar told his students that he would wear a cow costume if they could raise $500 for Heifer International, a charity that purchases livestock for families in struggling countries. The kids raised over $600, enough to buy a cow for a family in need.
What a great looking costume! The Comical Cow Costume includes the headpiece & jumpsuit with udder. We’re glad it’s part of this mooooving story. Congrats to everyone at the Salem Lutheran School!
Here’s teaser for our upcoming Dark Knight Rises costumes! Bane makes his debut here on Costume Craze, and we get updated Catwoman and Batman costumes, too! We’ll have more Dark Knight Rises costumes coming soon, so check back!
